Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No mortality was observed in the test medium after 96 hours
The following values are expressed in terms of nominal concentration:
96 h NOEC: ≥100 mg/L
96h LOEC: > 100 mg/L
96 h LC50: > 100 mg/L
The following values are expressed in terms of analytical concentration:
96 h NOEC: ≥3.10 mg/L
96h LOEC: > 3.10 mg/L
96 h LC50: > 3.10 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One key study (Klimisch score=1) was identified, in which FEXO-07 were tested for short-term toxicity to fish using a method according to OECD 203, EU Method C.1 and EPA OPPTS 850.1075.

The substance was tested on Danio rerio under static condition in a limit test (at the nominal concentration of 100 mg/l, corresponding to an analytical concentration of 3.1 mg/L) for a total exposure duration of 96 h.

FEX0-07 caused 0% mortality to zebra fish at the experimental conditions detailed above.

Given the nature of limit test, the 96-hour LC50 could not be determined, but, according to the binomial theory, using 7 fish per test the absence of mortality provides at least 99% confidence that the LC50 is greater than the concentration tested (i. e., LC5o > 100 mg/L). The NOEC and the LOEC were determined directly from the raw data and are listed above.
