Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

non flammable

Additional information

One key (Klimisch score=1) flammability study (according to EU method A.10) was identified for FEXO-07.

Two tests were performed: on each test, the same sample behaviour was observed. The sample tested did not ignite, but it melted and became yellow-brown when the Bunsen's burner flame was approached. At room temperature it became a solid glassy. The combustion did not propagate, therefore no further testing was required.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on evaluation of the flammibility data discussed above, FEXO-07 does not meet the criteria for classification as flammable under the CLP Regulation (Regulation (EC) n. 1272/2008) and the Directive 67/548/EEC because the sample tested did not ignite.
