Additional information

The octanol-water partition coefficient of the substance was determined in a valid GLP-study according to OECD TG 117 (Givaudan 1998) by the HPLC method. The log value for the Kow of 2.1 at ambient temperature was confirmed in a second HPLC method (Sangster 1989). A slightly higher log value for the Kow of 2.28 at 25 °C was found in a study using the shaking flask method (Sangster 1989). It can be concluded that the log value of 2.1 for the Kow of the substance can be considered as reliable.
