Table 1: Measured data

 Experiment  Value (°C)  Drops used
 1  472  8
 2  478  11
 3  470  8

Three replicate main tests were performed under atmospheric pressure.

Evaluation of the Data

Difference between the lowest values of the main studies was less than 20 K, thus, the validity criterion was fulfilled. The auto-ignition temperature is the lowest value from the lowest values measured during the Main Test, rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 °C.

Result

The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 470 °C. Thus, auto-ignition temperature of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate is 470 °C determined as in DIN 51794.

Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate is 470 °C determined as in DIN 51794.
Executive summary:

A study was be performed in accordance with EU method A.15 in order to determine the auto flammability of the test item. The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 470 °C. Thus, auto-ignition temperature of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate is 470 °C determined as in DIN 51794.

Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate is 470 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
470 °C

Additional information

A study was be performed in accordance with EU method A.15 in order to determine the auto flammability of the test item. The lowest value of the auto-ignition temperature was 470 °C. Thus, auto-ignition temperature of Sodium (2-butoxyethoxy) acetate is 470 °C determined as in DIN 51794.
