Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance is with high probability not acutely harmful to fish. No toxic effects occur within the range of solubility.

Additional information

A GLP guideline study (limit test) was conducted according to OECD 203 (BASF SE 2014). Zebrafish were used as test organism and exposed for 96 hours to the test item. Due to the low solubility of the test item a saturated solution with a loading rate of 100 mg/l has been prepared. After 96 h no toxic effects could be observed up to the limit of solubility. Therefore, the LC50 was determined to be > 100 mg/L (nominal).

Concentration control analyses are not performed, because a reliable method for analyses in the required concentration range could not be developed. However, since all reasonable efforts were taken to produce a saturated solution of the test substance in test media following the guidance in OECD 23 and the test fish were exposed to the entire loaded mass of test substance for the duration of the test, the results are based on the loading rate.
