Additional information

A short-term aquatic toxicity test was conducted with the freshwater guppy, Poecilia reticulata for 96 -hrs exposed to propane-1,2 -diyl diacetate (DOWANOL PGDA) with mortality as the endpoint. The test followed OECD 203, met GLP requirements and therefore was consider the key study with a Klimisch score of 1. Test concentrations were set at 18, 32, 56, 100, 180, 320, 560 mg/L with a laboratory water control (DSW). The 96 -hr LC50 value was 82 mg/L (C.I. 72 - 97 mg/L). The No Observed Effect Concnetration (NOEC) was calcuated to be 32 mg/L.
