Description of key information

Toxicity to soil macroorganisms except arthropods:

According to Column 2 of annex IX the study need not to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is highly unlikely considering the various uses of chemical as it is primarily used as an emulsifier to keep water and oils mixed. Chemical is used in the manufacture of food and healthcare products and is a non-ionic surfactant with emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties. Hence it is expected that toxicity to the soil macroorganisms except arthropods with the chemical is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods:

According to Column 2 of annex IX the study need not to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is highly unlikely considering the various uses of chemical as it is primarily used as an emulsifier to keep water and oils mixed. Chemical is used in the manufacture of food and healthcare products and is a non-ionic surfactant with emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties. Hence it is expected that toxicity to the terrestrial arthropods with the chemical is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial plants:

According to Column 2 of annex IX the study need not to be conducted because direct and indirect exposure of soil is highly unlikely considering the various uses of chemical as it is primarily used as an emulsifier to keep water and oils mixed. Chemical is used in the manufacture of food and healthcare products and is a non-ionic surfactant with emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties.
