Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The surface tension of the test material was determined in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 115, EU Method A.5, ISO 304 and AFNOR NF T 73-060 using the ring method. Under the conditions of the test, the surface tension of the test material dissolved in pure water at a concentration of 1 g/L, at a temperature of 19.9 °C was determined to be 72.6 mN/m. Since the surface tension is > 60 mN/m the test substance is not considered to be surface active.

The study was performed in line with GLP and accepted standardised guidelines with a good level of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 according to the criteria of Klimisch (1997) and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.

The available data are considered to be complete and the result determined, 72.6 mN/m at 19.9 °C and a concentration of 1 g/L, was taken forward for risk assessment.
