Description of key information

The compound consists of a triazine part and an amine part. Under environmental conditions it is present in its dissociated form. Data on the toxicity to terrestrial arthropods are only available for the amine part CAS 80584-91-4.   The test reveals a low hazard potential to terrestrial plants.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The compound consists of a triazine part and an amine part. Under environmental conditions it is present in its dissociated form. Data on the toxicity to terrestrial arthropods are only available for the amine part CAS 80584-91-4.

The toxicity to terrestrial plants was assessed in terrestrial growth test in accordance to OECD guideline 208. Three different species Lolium perenne, Brassica rapa and Vicia sativa were exposed to artificial soil at nominal concentrations of 1, 10 and 100 mg/kg. The EC50 based on emergence and growth was determined to be > 100 mg/kg, EC0 at least 100mg/kg for all three species.
