Read across from similar substances (sulfited fat liquors EC 307-037-4 fish oil, EC 281-975-1 rape oil, and EC 279-185-5 lard animal oil) indicate the substances are non-mutagenic (per the Ames Test) and non-clastogenic to human lymphocytes in vitro (per the Chromosome Abberation Test).
