Aquatic environment classification
Based on the available data acetyl tributyl citrate is considered to be
rapidly biodegradable, both in aquatic media and soil.
The most sensitive short-term endpoint is the
21d-NOEC from a limit test with Daphnia magna of ≥ 1.11 mg
Due to rapid degradation and considering the insignificant
bioaccumulation potential, the substance is not to be classified as
dangerous/hazardous for the environment according to Directive
67/548/EEC or according to the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 on
classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP).
