Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

For the registration substance no measurable hydrolysis is expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Hydrolysis half-life of phosphoric acid triesters was reported in literature to be 1.22 years for Trimethylphosphate (C1) and 5.5 years for Triethyl phosphate (C2).

For the registration substance with an alkyl chain of C16 - C18 an even higher half live is expected. (Though the registration substance consists mainly of the mono- and diester.) For the testing of the registration substance no measurable hydrolysis is expected even at the higher temperature of the preliminary test.
