The Minium Ignition Temperature determined in the BAM oven is 390 deg C.
Description of key information
The auto-flammability potential of T003066 was determined in a K1 GLP study (Reingruber, 2017) carried out according to EC A.16. In the EC A.16 test no self-heating was observed up to the melting point of the test item. No relative self-ignition temperature could be determined.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
There is a supporting study available, for which the reliability was not assignable (K4) performed by the Process Safety Center of Janssen Pharmaceutica in which an MIT dust cloud (BAM) study was performed reporting a minimum ignition temperature of the dust cloud is of 390°C (2008).
