Description of key information
According to COLUMN 2 Specific Rules For Adaptation From Column 1 set
out in Section 7.6, Annex VII of REACH, if the water solubility is below
1.0 mg/L at 20°C the test does not need to be conducted.
The water solubility of the substance is below 1 mg/L, therefore it is
not possible to satisfactorily measure the surface tension of the
substance. Water solubility of the test substance is just 8.8 μg/I (8.8
x 1E-0·6 g/I) at 19.5 ± 1.0°C, so this study can be waived.
