Administrative data

Endpoint:
auto-ignition temperature (liquids)
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:

Justification for type of information:
A test item is considered highly flammable when it ignites spontaneously in contact with water, or evolves a flammable gas at a minimum rate of ≥ 1 litre/kg of the substance per hour.
The composition of the test item is shown in paragraph 4.1. None of the components of the test item does contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with water and/or to the evolution of a flammable gas. Moreover the test item is 74% aqueous solution. It demonstrated that the test item does not ignite spontaneously in contact with water.
In conclusion, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate is considered ‘not highly flammable’ in contact with water.
