The water evaporation was observed between 40°C and 180°C. The thermal decomposition of the test substance was observed above temperature 180°C. Any peaks correspond to the melting or boiling of the test substance was not observed to the temperature at whitch the thermal decomposition started.Melting temperature of the test substance, Acid Black 227, could not be determined because of thermal decomposition of the test substance.

The melting temperature of the test substance, Acid Black 227 was investigated. The Differential Scanning Calorimetry method was used.
