Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

The aerobic ready biodegradability of Acetamid was determined in the Closed Bottle Test following OECD 301D resp. EU C.4.E. The following data could be determined for the test item Acetamid:

10-day-window: day 1 - 11

degradation at the end of 10-day-window: 69 %

degradation at the end of the test after subtraction of oxygen uptake through nitrification: 65 %

Therefore Acetamid is readily biodegradable following OECD 301D/EU C.4-E.
