This information can be waived, since the substance is neither classified as mutagen nor is there evidence from the repeated dose studies that the substance is able to induce hyperplasia and/or pre-neoplastic lesions. Granular SiC tested in an intraperitoneal model did not significantly produce mesothelioman mass (Roller et al, 1996).
