Description of key information

According to Annex X, Sec. 9.5.1 from the REACH Regulation, long-term toxicity testing on sediment organisms should be proposed if the results of the chemical safety assessment indicate the need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or degradation products on sediment organisms. The chemical safety assessment showed no risk for the sediment compartment, therefore, no further testing with sediment organisms is considered needed. Furthermore, direct and indirect exposure to the sediment is considered negligible as the substance is integrated into an article with no release potential.
