Conclusion on classification

The acute aquatic toxicity of the substance is considered high based on its acute toxicity study on fish (LC50 = 0.46 mg/L, 96 h). Since the substance is not readily biodegradable (3% degradation after 28 days), its chronic aquatic toxicity is considered also high.

According to the rules defined within CLP Regulation, the substance is very toxic to aquatic life (Aquatic Acute Category 1, H400) and very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects (Aquatic Chronic Category 1, H410).
