Description of key information

The 48H-EC50 was 6.49 mg/L (CI: 5.58 -7.76). The 48H-NOEC was 2.5 and the 48H LOEC was 5.00 mg/L.

In the acute immobilisation test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the effects of the test item were determined according to OECD 202 and GLP. The study was conducted in the dark under semi-static conditions over a period of 48 h with 5 concentrations of the test item in the range of 1.25 to 20 mg/L, prepared with dilution water in a geometric series with a separation factor of 2. The tested solutions were clear throughout the exposure period. 20 daphnids were exposed to each concentration level and the control. The concentrations of the test item were analytical verified by LC-MS/MS at the start of exposure intervals (0 and 24H) and at the end of the exposure intervals (24 and 48H) in all concentrations and the control. The measured concentrations at the start were in the range of 96 to 120% of the nominal values. At the end, they were in the range of 94 to 119% of the nominal values. The effect values given are based on the nominal concentrations. The validity criteria of the test guideline were fulfilled. The 48H-EC50 was 6.49 mg/L (CI: 5.58 -7.76). The 48H-NOEC was 2.5 and the 48H LOEC was 5.00 mg/L
