No testing on transport and distribution has been performed. PTSI is extremely water-reactive and therefore decomposes rapidly in the environment. The decomposition product of PTSI, p-toluenesulfonyl amide (PTSA), is readily biodegradable and therefore also decomposes rapidly in the environment. PTSA can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption as this substance has a log Kow of 0.6.
