- Justification:
PTSI reacts with water to form p-toluenesulfonyl amide (PTSA) and carbon dioxide. Based on this PTSI is not P and therefore not PBT or vPvB.
The decomposition product PTSA is not P as it is readily biodegradable, not B as it has a log Kow <4.5 and not T based on the available information from short-term aquatic toxicity tests and the lack of a CMR / STOT RE classification. PTSA is therefore also not PBT or vPvB.
