- Justification:
The test substance was found to be inherently biodegradable in an OECD 301 B test indicating it does not pose significant persistence concern. The substance is also not considered to be bioaccumulative based on its log Kow for the major constituents. This together with its absence of toxicity at ≤1 mg/L doses in short-term ecotoxicity tests and the absence of systemic hazard potential for the human health endpoints indicates that the substance does not fulfil the‘T’ criteria. Therefore, the test substance is not classified as PBT or vPvB.
