PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

Persistence (P)

The chemical Decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-3a,7-methano-3aH-cyclopentacyclooct-3-yl formate is not considered to be persistent since it does not meet the criteria of Annex XIII (1.1.1) related to degradation half life in air, water and soil ( based upon Biowin (Ultimate) and Aopwin)

Bio-accumulation (B)

The chemical Decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-3a,7-methano-3aH-cyclopentacyclooct-3-yl formate is not considered to be bioaccumulative since the bioconcentration factor (BCF) in fish is 744.6 L/kg wet-wt ( BCFBAF v3.01) which is less than the bioconcentration factor of 2000

Toxicity (T)

The chemical Decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-3a,7-methano-3aH-cyclopentacyclooct-3-yl formate is not considered to be toxic since it does not meet the criteria of Annex XIII (1.1.3 a, b and c)

Thus, the chemical

Decahydro-1,1,7-trimethyl-3a,7-methano-3aH-cyclopentacyclooct-3-yl formate is not considered to be PBT and vPvB.
