Among others, the nematicidal effect of n-octylamine was tested on larvae  of Ancylostoma caninum (parasitic worm in dogs). The minimal lethal  concentration (MLC) in 24 hours was 200 µg/ml. The MLC was specified as  EC100 by BUA (1996, p. 91/92).
