boiling point of the test substance was determined under GLP by
differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) using the procedure specified in ASTM
E537-86 and according to OECD 103 and EU method A2 guidelines. Two runs
were performed, under nitrogen and air atmosphere, showing no oxidative
degradation, and the result in air
boiling temperature of test substance has been determined to be 269
± 1 °C (542
± 1 K) at an atmospheric pressure of 99.51 kPa.
Measured boiling point = 269°C under 99.5 kPa (not corrected to normal atmP)
A reliable experimental study, conducted
according to a recognized OECD/EC method and under GLP, is available.
Despite minor restrictions due to technical inaccuracy, it is considered
as a key study. The result is retained as key data.
