Endpoint:
water solubility
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7 and 9 (half-life less than 12 hours)
Justification for type of information:
JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, information requirement section 7.7, this study is not needed since the substance is (hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7 and 9 (t ½ < 12 hr).

Description of key information

Waived: Water solubility testing is not feasible due to decomposition in water

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex VII, testing does not need to be conducted if the substance is hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7, and 9. No determination was possible according to Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995, due to the following reason: The test item was concluded to hydrolyse fully within 10 minutes of contact with water; thus, it was decided that the water solubility test was not feasible.
