Description of key information
The proportion of test substance having an inhalable particle size of less than 100 µm was determined to be 0.266%. Hence, the test substance was considered to be essentially non-inhalable.
Additional information
A study was performed to determine the partition size distribution of the test substance according to the European Commission Technical Guidance Document (EUR 20268), in compliance with GLP. The proportion of test substance passing through a 100 µm sieve was determined using an Inclyno sieve shaker by shaking for a period of approximately 30 minutes (Fox, 2013).
