Description of key information

The acute toxic to the freshwater inverterbrate (EC50 (48h) Daphnia magna) was determined at 44mg/L (average measured concentration, GLP OECD 202, static exposure).

The cladoceran, Daphnia magna, was exposed for 48 hours under static conditions to six mean measured concentrations of 3 -amino-4 -octanol ranging from 6.5 to 193 mg/L. The 48-hour EC50 value was 44 mg/L, with a 95% confidence interval of 25 to 98 mg/L.
