Additional information

In the IUCLID 4 file the LD50 on oral, dermal and inhalation toxicity are cited. Values from 360 - 2000 mg/kgBW on rats is cited on acute oral toxicity. On inhalation values from 0.34 to 0.48 mg/L (4 hours) and 1.57 -< 2.1 mg/L (1 hour) on rats are cited. Dermal values are cited as 590 mg/kg BW on rats and 750 - 2150 mg/kg BW on rabbits.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification. labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, MP-2 is officially classified as acute oral, dermal toxicity category 4. On inhalation toxicity category 1.
