The test item consisted of granules (several millimeter in diameter). Due to the size of the granules the particle size distribution was determined by dry sieving.


486.64 g of the test item were placed on the top sieve. After closing the sieve stack and placing it into the sieving machine sieving was performed for 2 min with amplitude of 1.0 mm.
