The adsorption coefficient Koc of FAT 41'029/A was estimated to be 66865 or higher based on a water solubility of below 0.007 mg/l and the molecular weight of 495.3 g/mol using the regression equations (Lyman, Reehl, Rosenblatt: Handbook of Chemical Property Estimation Methods, 1990) . Additionally, an estimation was performed based on the octanol/water partition coefficient of log Pow = 3.6. It resulted in a Koc value of 2165. Therefore, FAT 41'029/A is immobile in soils. For hazard and risk assessment purpose the value KOC = 2165 is used, as it is built on the measured log POW and therefore considered more reliable that an estimated value derived purely on the basis of water solubility.
