Principles of method if other than guideline:
The oscillating densitimeter method was employed to determine the density of the sample. A mechanical oscillator constructed in the form of a U-tube is vibrated at the resonance frequency of the oscillator which depends on its mass. The method is applicable to liquids with a dynamic viscosity below 5 Pa.s.
The relative density is the quotient of the mass of a defined volume of test item, measured at 20°C, and the mass of the same volume of water determined at 4°C. Relative density 20°C/4°C of the test item = density of the test item at 20°C [kg/m3]/999.975 [kg/m3] (density of water at 4°C)
Three measurements were performed at 20°C+/-0.5°C.
