3.2699 g of the test item Celitement was weighed out for the limit test item concentration and mixed thoroughly with 60 g quartz sand (10 g per
replicate). The treated quartz sand was given to the artificial soil. Additional 516 mL demineralised water was added to adjust the humidity of the
artificial soil to a moisture of 40 - 60 % of the maximum water holding capacity. Subsequently, the test medium was thoroughly mixed to ensure a
homogenous distribution and about 555 g soil dry weight was filled into each test vessel.

The acute toxicity of 2-Chloroacetamide on the earthworm Eisenia fetida fetida SAVIGNY was determined over a period of two weeks from
2014-03-13 to 2014-03-27. The LC50-value ranged between 20 and 80 mg/kg soil dry weight as recommended by the guideline (see table below).

concentration at test end. - Executive summary:
The acute effects of Celitement (Batch: Not specified) on the earthworm Eisenia fetida were determined according to the OECD Guideline 207 and DIN ISO 11268-1 at Dr.U.Noack-Laboratorienin 31157 Sarstedt, Germany from2014 -04 -16 to 2014 -05 -02 with the definitive exposure phase from 2014-04-16 to 2014-04-30.
The study was conducted under static conditions for 14 days with a limit test item concentration of 1000 mg product/kg soil dry weight that was mixed into artificial soil containing 10 % peat. A control using untreated artificial soil was prepared. 60 test organisms, with an individual weight of 0.30 to 0.51 g, were divided into 6 replicate groups with each 10 test organisms.
Neither mortality, nor evident pathological symptoms or changes in earthworm behaviour were observed in the control and in the limit test item concentration of 1000 mg product/kg soil dry weight after 7 and 14 days of exposure. However, one worm showed spontaneous segmentation and separationin the limit test item concentration. Compared to the control, no biologically significant difference of biomass was observed in the limit test item concentration at test end.
All validity criteria of the test guidelines were fulfilled.
