Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

AS100 is thermally stable up to 120°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
120 °C

Additional information

Method

The determination was carried out by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), using a procedure equivalent/similar to Method 103 of the OECD Guidelines.

Results

AS100 is thermally stable up to 120°C as there is no weight loss or phase change taking place upto this point.

A weight loss is shown from 120°C onwards to 200°C, possibly due to evaporation. There is an endothermic phase change but no exothermal peak is present which would indicate boiling taking place.
