non explosive

Additional information

The substance does not contain any functional groups identified in the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6, Table A6.1, as being associated with explosive properties and it has a low oxygen balance.

Furthermore, the exothermic decomposition energy of Reactive Blue 19 has been determined to be < 500 J/g and the onset of exothermic decomposition is below 500°C (10 J/g at 130°C and 60 J/g at 245°C).

In addition, the test of a structural analogue showed no explosive properties. On this basis, the test substance is not considered to be explosive.
