Additional information

Two screening test studies are available for the substance about biodegradation in water. One is flagged as a key study, and reveals that the substance is readily biodegradable (OECD 301B, CO2 evolution test). As the GLP is not stated, this study was quoted as reliability 2 according to Klimisch criteria. The second study according to the OECD 301 D (Ready Biodegradability: Closed Bottle Test) and quoted Klimisch 2 also concluded that the substance is readily biodegradable.

As the substance is readily biodegradable and in accordance with the column 2 of REACH Annex IX there is no need to conduct the biodegradation in water and sediment study (section 9.2.1.2. and 9.2.1.4.) and the biodegradation in soil study (section 9.2.1.3.).
