Details on results:
The saturation concentration of BLUE GS 5664.80 at room temperature was estimated by a simplified flask method in the preliminary test to be higher than 10^(-2) g/L Therefore, the flask shaking test was performed.

The solubility of BLUE GS 5664.80 in water was determined after a shaking time of 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours, respectively at 30 °C. Afterwards the samples were equilibrated for 24 hours at 20.0 °C. The concentrations determined after an equilibration period of 72 hours shows a relevant degradation of the main peak. This indicates a degradation of the test item BLUE GS 5664.80 in water. The concentration of the water solubility was calculation using
the measured results of the samples equilibrated for 24 hours and 48 hours. The concentrations measured differ by less than 15 %. Therefore, the study is considered to be valid. The measured concentrations after incubation time of 72 hours showed a smaller solubility.

In conclusion, the water solubility of BLUE GS 5664.80 at 20.0 °C was determined to be 6.7 g/1 (standard deviation± 0.4 g/l).
The water solubility was not corrected for the purity of the test item.

* The mean value was calculated from the bold values. The smaller concentration of the test item after an incubation time of 72 hours indicates a degradation of BLUE GS 5664.80 and was therefore not used for the calculation.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of BLUE GS 5664.80 at 20.0 °C was determined to be 6.7 g/l (standard deviation± 0.4 g/l).
Executive summary:

The water solubility of BLUE GS 5664.80 has been determined in the current study performed following OECD TG 105 according to GLP.

The saturation concentration of BLUE GS 5664.80 at room temperature was estimated by a simplified flask method in the preliminary test to be higher than 10^(-2) g/1. Therefore, the flask shaking test was performed.

The concentration of the water solubility was calculation using the measured results of the samples equilibrated for 24 hours and 48 hours. The concentrations measured differ by less than 15 %. Therefore, the study is considered to be valid. The measured concentrations after incubation time of 72 hours showed a smaller solubility.

The water solubility of BLUE GS 5664.80 at 20.0 °C was determined to be 6.7 g/l (standard deviation± 0.4 g/l).
