Preliminary Visual Estimation of the Water Solubility

The preliminary visual experiments showed that the water solubility of the test item is very low as 10 mg of test item did not dissolve in 50 ml water.

Flask-Method

The average water solubility observed over experiments A to C was <2.5 μg/l.

The recovery of 101.1 % indicated a sufficient accuracy of the analytical method.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of FAT 36152/M at 20 °C was determined to be <2.5 µg/l.
Executive summary:

Water solubility of FAT 36152/M was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 105. Flask method was employed for this purpose. Based on the findings of the study, the water solubility of FAT 36152/M at 20 °C was determined to be <2.5 µg/l.

Description of key information

Additional information

Water solubility of FAT 36152/M was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 105. Flask method was employed for this purpose. Based on the findings of the study, the water solubility of FAT 36152/M at 20 °C was determined to be <2.5 µg/l.

The water solubility of FAT 36152/C was investigated in a study conducted according to the EEC guideline L 251/A.6. (1984). Column elution method was used for this purpose. Based on the findings of the study, water solubility of FAT 36152/C was determined to be about 0.018 mg/L ( = about 18 ppb) at 20 °C.
