Executive summary:

The Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) of the substance was assessed using methods based on OECD Guideline 301D and C.4 -E.

The BOD of the substance was 1.42gO2/g at the nominal 6mg/L and 1.40 gO2/g at the nominal 3mg/L; the mean BOD was 1.41gO2/g

The measured COD of the substcne was 83% of the ThOD (3.06gO2/g) claculated from its empirical formula and molecular weight which indicated that the material may not have been was completely oxidised under the conditions of the COD test.
