Additional information

When tested according to OECD Guideline 301 F, MON 13900 was not readily biodegradable (0 – 1.5% degradation within 28 days). However, in a study where the herbicide formulation MON 69447 (840 g/L acetochlor and 28 g/L MON 13900) was applied once to bare soil, DT50 values for MON 13900 ranged from 0.5 to 1.5 d and DT90 values from 1.6 to 4.9 d. The substance is therefore not persistent in the soil environment.
