- Justification:
The bioconcentration potential of (2-Ethoxy-1-methyl-2-oxoethyl)-5-[2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl) phenoxy]-2-nitrobenzoate was determined in bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus) is low, and clearance was almost complete for the substance in fish.
Uptake-depuration was modeled for whole fish using a two-compartment kinetic model yielding a bioconcentration factor (BCF) of 220. With measured values of the 30th d, the BCF was 380 (whole body w.w.).
No relevant accumulation was observed in soil tests after application as a herbicidal agent.

As a herbicidal substance, the substance will be sprayed. According to good agricultural practice, the substance will be only applied in a manner which decreases drift. The substance is not legally applied in the EU.
