Additional information

A study was conducted in accordance with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No.202 “Daphnia sp., Acute Immobilisation Test” (2004). A water-accommodated fraction (WAF, test conc. 100 mg/L) was used to expose the test species to the test substance because the substance was poorly water-soluble and difficult to be dissolved stably in the test solutions. The result given below was calculated from the time-weighted mean of measured concentrations. The median effect concentration (EC50) for immobilisation is mentioned as [>test concentration] because this test was a limit test and the immobility was 0% in Conc. 1. The 48-hour median effect concentration (EC50) found was >0.0265 mg/L (Conc. determined by HPLC).
