Description of key information

Hydrolysis

According to Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 Annex VIII 9.2.2.1 column 2 a study on hydrolysis does not need to be conducted if the substance is highly insoluble in water. Since the water solubility of the test substance was determined to be (lower than) 0.005 mg/L, an experimental investigation of its hydrolytic properties was not considered necessary.

Biodegradation

Two test according to OECD Guideline 301 F and OECD Guideline 310 indicates that the test substance is poorly biodegradable.

Bioaccumulation

In a weight of evidence approach using log Pow, QSAR and toxicological data, the bioaccumulation potential is below 500.

No indication for bioaccumulation could be found in the available toxicological studies.

Transport and Distribution

Adsorption to solid soil is expected. Calculted Koc using QSAR (EPIWin) is 9799.
