Additional information

According to the data reported in handbooks and authoritative databases, Thionyl chloride exhibits a freezing point of -104.5°C to -101°C at normal atmospheric pressure (default assumption in case pressure conditions were not reported). A freezing point of -104.5°C was retained as key value as it was the value most frequently encountered in the consulted handbooks and databases. Besides, this value is consistent with available secondary data which report a freezing point of -104.5°C to -94°C for Thionyl chloride.
