The Soil Adsorption Coefficient (Koc) value of 36.53 L/kg was estimated using MCI method - model KOCWIN v2.00 (US EPA, 2013b). The estimated value indicates low sorption to soil / sediment and moderate migration to ground water.
The Henry's Law Constant (HLC) of 1.60E-006 Pa-m3/mole was estimated using the model HENRYWIN, EPI Suite (US EPA, 2013c).
The estimated HLC value is supported with experimantal result from study by Consior and Madsen, 1988, where the air/water partition coefficient for PMDETA was determined to be less than 1 x 10 -4 at 25°C. Both results indicate that the material will tend to remain in an aqueous solution.
Both predicted values were used for PNEC derivation using EPM method and are considered asadequate for the chemical safety assessment (CSA) and no additional information is required.
