Additional information

The short-term toxicity test to fish was conducted with the specie fathead minnow Pimephales Promelas. The test concentrations ranged from 1.22 to 8.9 mg/L (measured). The fishes were observed for 96 hours and the results were recorded after 12, 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours. A slime build up occurred in the exposure tanks. Affected fish swam at the water surface and lost equilibrium prior to death. First mortality occurred at the concentration of 4.79 mg/L after 48 hours. The LC50 after 96 hours was determined to be 6.62 mg/L.
