Health effects ofDiesel Fuel and its componentshave been studied comprehensively and reviewed by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR, 1995), the International Agency for Research of Cancer (IARC, 1989), CONCAWE (CONCAWE, 1996) and by the World Health Organization (WHO, 1996). Because these reports have undergone several levels of technical review, it is assumed for the purpose of the present CSR that any referenced toxicity data cited in them are also reliable.
