Description of key information

Data for the partition coefficient n-octanol/water of the test substance were derived from the estimation method and calculation method according to OECD and EU guidelines. The tests were performed according to the GLP principles.

Additional information

For determination of the partition coefficient of the test substance, the Estimation method and the Calculation method were used because log Pow of the test substance is > 6, i.e. outside the range in which the Shake flask method and the HPLC method are applicable.

Based on the n-octanol solubility and the water solubility, the Pow value of the test substance at 20°C was estimated to be > 1.654 x 10E3 (log Pow > 3.2).

Using the Rekker calculation method, Pow was calculated to be 1.0 x 10E10 (log Pow 10.0).
